A couple weeks back now, Big R Fly Shop was lucky enough to go Bass fishing with Jimmy Houston in Ponderay, ID. He flew in from Oklahoma for the Grand Opening representing Duracell Marine batteries. Sun River has its days..... The fishing has been fairly good with dry flies and streamers this last week. Nymphing is staying consistent through the ups and downs. The river gets irrigated the crud out of. Otherwise it could be one of the best tail waters in the state. What a lucky dog, he and his clients are catching Super Sized Rainbows and eating fresh fish....Everyday.
