The Dams are Coming Down
September 29, 2011
Over the past few years there has been lots of talk about dam’s being removed to restore natural spawning grounds for the native steelhead and salmon running in from the Pacific coast. However, what action has actually happened? Is it all talk? Sitting on the Dock of Bourbon Street
September 23, 2011
I was sitting on a balcony on Bourbon Street last month with Calvin, KK, Erik, the Trout Shop guys, and who knows who else. The images you see illustrate... Read more

Labor Day Is Here

Tomorrow we are having a Labor Day Red Bag sale. Anything you can stick in a Red Bag, you will get 15% off those items. Looking around the fly shop right now, I spy a 4 pcs. rod, large amount of hoppers and streamers, reels, lines, a can of dog food, clothing, tying supplies (no hackle though) and tons of other gear. Now is the time to fill back up on everything that was lost or beaten up this summer. We recently *D*'ed a lot of other products that have... Read more
