A couple guys and I fished the Judith River the other day. It was more of an adventure type of thing than a true fishing trip. I got a 18" brown and a bass and hooked into a bigger cat or a carp then lost it. A little further down river Bob hooked about a 20 inch bow and a nice cat that he got up to the surface then it came unbuttoned. It was cloudy out and the water was a little off color. I tried the idea dark days dark colors for a while, then I once I started to throw the Fire Tiger Sleezeburger, I started to get hook ups. It is a chartreuse/green on top with a orange/yellow on bottom. The actual fly that is at the top of the page. I don't know if I would say it is worth the drive to fish when the MO or the Sun is only 30 minutes to an hour away, but if looking to get a little trashy this could be your water.
