Tungsten Parrot Nymph

The Tungsten Parrot is a relatively new fly in our shop that we've been having a lot of luck with during the early morning to mid-day on the Mo.  It is a very simple tie, but don't let that fool you as far as its allure to the fish.  The Tungsten Parrot is meant to fish deep and imitates a caddis fly in its transition stage from a larva to a pupa; perfect for this time of year.  Fish it deep and dead drifted or add a little frog's fanny to the dubbed thorax and fish it on the swing (whatever floats your boat).  The Tungsten Parrot flat out fishes well this time of year and is one of my go to bugs for consistent fish nymphing.
