Sam Wike
We got back from Omak, WA on Thursday night after another long drive. We had a great trip, and again, learned a lot of new stuff about the area. The new staff, Greg and Stephan are great guys and both love to fish, and they are willing/eager to learn more. We spent two days last week putting up inventory, sorting out flies, building rod racks, explaining our computer systems, and we even got to go fishing. Greg, who is the owner of Putmbac guide service in Omak, and one... Roaming Around Omak
November 16, 2011
Sam Wike
Erik and I rolled in to Omak last night around dusk, just in time to see the new store going up.  The roof is almost on, and we are praying there is no snow today so that things are not slowed down.  There is not a fly for sale, or a material, or a fly rod for sale in this town right now... so we plan to change that.  One of the construction workers said that huge triploids are being caught from the bank right now down by Chief Joseph.  We had two guy contact us last... Erik and I will be travelling to our new location we are currently building in Omak, WA tomorrow morning.  This will be our third fly shop, and we are getting very excited for spring fishing in Omak next year, and providing the surrounding fly fishing community with a fly shop that is demographically in tune with the best flies, a huge selection of fly tying materials, and lots of gear for the lakes, streams, and rivers that surround Omak.  Erik and I are going to scope...
